RBC Direct Investing: Investor’s Toolkit Case Study
This project was a fascinating one designed to get users curious about investing, learning about new tools and becoming comfortable on the platform.
Sketching and White boarding
Putting down ideas and concepts was a key part of group ideation, once we had determined the problem.
Manual Card sorting
We chose the old fashioned manual card sorting exercise to understand where and why users grouped concepts and ideas together.
Wireframing
We went through many iterations of wires based on stakeholders interviews, user analytics and customer verbatims. Once the wires were approved - we tested the prototype!
Prototyping
Prototyping gave us a better understanding of what the users wanted, and expected on this type of page

The final product is a slick interface that allows users to gain a better understanding of the tools and learn about the wonderful world of direct investing.
